"Metamorphic Rocks - rocks from the pressure cooker" (10-weeks) - Printed

It has been several years since we last offered this course and it always proves to be a popular choice. We take the mystery out of metamorphic rocks by taking a close look at how they form from existing rocks of all types.

The course is arranged in a way that covers all the basic elements of metamorphic rocks. It takes you through how metamorphic rocks form, the textures the rocks exhibit and the minerals that make them up. You'll learn about contact, regional and dynamic metamorphism and how we classify these enigmatic rocks.

10 Sessions starting Monday November 16 - December 14, and then restarting January 18 for a further 5 weeks.

Please note this form is to enroll for the postal version of the course.
