[Wednesday Club] "Geological riches of the Yorkshire Coast" - 11th Nov

[Wednesday Club]

One in a series of Wednesday Club talks with printed background papers.

Wednesday at 2.00pm or 7.00pm (your choice) via live Zoom.

Aiming to cover:

• The remarkable succession of rocks exposed along the Yorkshire Coast.
• How seas, rivers, deltas and swamps created the landscapes recorded in the cliffs.
• The fossils for which places like Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough are famous.
• Why continual coastal erosion makes this one of Britain's best places to see geology.

Course information and printed background papers sent by post.

We also invite all participants to join a short Q&A at the end of each session.

This is a chance to engage directly with Chris, who will happily provide further insight.

Price: £11.00
