The standard transit is supplied with it's own purpose made leather carrying pouch. Several magnetic regional variants of the 5020 are available, the standard is supplies as North American, European and North African balance. Specially balanced orders typically would have a lead time of 5 - 6 weeks.


This is the evolutionary replacement for
the old 5006 transit.

Built with all of the functionality and features of traditional Brunton Transits, the Standard takes traditional strike & dip measurements and excels at low-angle readings with its flat bottom and non-slip silicon foot.


Note this model is available in a variety of regional balances worldwide. The USA/European is stocked as standard -
regional balances are to special order
and have a lead time of approx. 6-8
weeks.

• The sapphire jewel bearing allows for smooth needle movement throughout the life of the instrument.
• The needle lock button can lock or free the needle, depending on the model.
• The internal components are sealed with an O-ring for improved water and dust resistance.
• All transits are compativle with Jacob's Staff/Tripod ball and socket adaptors.
• Each model is available in either Azimuth (0-360) or Quadrant (0-90) formats.
