Store Catalogue | Educational Trips | Geology of Nefyn, North Wales (19th Oct)
The Llyn Peninsula is one of the most interesting areas of North Wales yet it is little known to most people. A lot has to do with its relative remoteness, but a visit is well worthwhile. We'll be taking in some of the rocks of a former ophiolite complex, including serpentines and pillow lavas. Across a major fault lie igneous and slates, which will be studied during the day.Meeting at Nefyn Harbour at 10.00amPlease select the appropriate category shown below 'Add to Cart'
